Meet Jenni and Hope

I was walking with my family today around the Meat Packing district of New York City and we happened to go into the Chelsea Market, one of the city’s most famous spots.

As we were walking along, my wife noticed a flower shop kiosk with the name of Gramercy Flowers and she asked me, “Aren’t they one of your customers?”

Indeed they are!  Over 15 years ago around this very time Tommy Sakas, the owner of Gramercy Flowers, after careful consideration went temporarily insane and decided to computerize his shop then at 23rd St and Thrid Avenue and one of the busiest shops in the city, just before the Christmas holidays.  He decided to go with flowerSoft and luckily, everything went without a hitch and he (and his employees) survived that Christmas holiday season.

Gramercy Park Flowers is one of the oldest and most distinguished flower shops in the city, currently with 4 separate locations in New York City.

If you are ever in New York City around the Christmas Holidays, make sure to visit the shop on Third Avenue so you can see an amazing display of Christmas ornaments.  Truly one of the most beautiful shops I have ever seen.

Anyhow, I walked into the Chelsea Street Gramercy Flowers and met these two lovely young ladies, Jenni and Hope, that keep things humming at this Gramercy location.

Of course, my wife had to buy some (3) of the beautiful Christmas ornaments they had for sale.

As you can see, the girls were thrilled to meet the “inventor” of flowerSoft, especially after I told them I would put their picture in the flowerSoft SIlver blog and make them famous. 🙂
